Jerold Panas has written an ebook that we are happy to make you aware of. Panas is described as the nation’s foremost fundraiser, and in this case the designation is correct. Panas knows what he is talking about.
Every excuse you have ever been given by board members or volunteers about why they cannot help with fundraising is covered.
He makes so many killer points. I especially noted the item about special events. Special events are time consuming and not worth the effort we expend on them. This is slight overstatement of what he actually says but not by much.
Enjoy the ebook. And then contact a key volunteer or board member this week and begin the process of turning them into a fundraiser. Remember knowledge without action is. . .Well I am not sure exactly what it is other than not good.
